Security, Hardware Encryption & Privacy
Your business data is stored exclusively on your device in a private SQLite Room database. Taksal does not operate a central user cloud database. Neither Taksal nor any third party has access to your customer lists, sales figures, designs, or invoices.
Sensitive values (such as business profile credentials and Gemini AI API keys) are encrypted using 256-bit AES-GCM cryptography. The cryptographic master key is generated and stored inside the Android device's hardware Secure Enclave / Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), meaning the key cannot be extracted even from rooted devices or compiled APK inspection.
Because all data lives on your device, you can completely erase everything at any time by going to Android Settings > Apps > Taksal > Storage > Clear Storage, or by uninstalling the application. This immediately and permanently purges all local databases and cryptographic keys.
