Terms & Conditions for Taksal Studio

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Taksal Studio Android mobile application (identified under package name com.card.mint.cardbuilder) or accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not install or use the application.

2. Software License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Card Mint / Taksal Studio grants you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the executable version of Taksal Studio on any compatible Android device that you own or control.

Under our v3.0 Free Studio Model, this license grants access to all vector canvas design tools, 300 DPI print exports, brand kit slots, GST invoicing modules, inventory management systems, and QR generator features without recurring subscription fees or mandatory in-app purchases.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Content Ownership

A. User-Created Artifacts

Taksal Studio claims zero ownership, royalties, or licensing rights over artwork or commercial billing documents you produce. You are entitled to print, publish, distribute, trademark, or commercially sell your exported designs (in PNG, JPEG, SVG, or PDF formats) without attribution or royalty payments to us.

B. Application Intellectual Property

The Taksal Studio software, native source code, layouts, Skia shader pipelines, UI/UX icons, pre-bundled layout templates, and brand trademarks ("Taksal", "Card Mint") remain the exclusive property of Card Mint / Taksal Studio and its licensors. You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, or extract the APK source code, except where prohibited by applicable law.

4. Acceptable & Prohibited Use

You agree to use Taksal Studio exclusively for lawful creative and commercial endeavors. You agree NOT to use the application to:

• Create fraudulent, deceptive, or forged legal documents, tax invoices, government stamps, currency, or counterfeit identification cards.
• Infringe upon third-party trademarks, copyrights, trade dress, or patents (e.g. reproducing registered corporate logos without authorization).
• Generate abusive, defamatory, threatening, obscene, or racially offensive graphic materials.
• Distribute malware, automate ad clicks, or tamper with the Google Mobile Ads SDK integration.

5. Invoicing, Accounting & Tax Disclaimer

While Taksal Studio provides automated GST calculations, invoice numbering, and tax percentage breakdowns, tax laws vary across jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying the accuracy of all tax percentages, GSTIN numbers, and invoice totals before issuing them to clients or filing tax returns.
• Ensuring that the invoices, receipts, and quotations generated comply with local tax, commercial invoice, and record retention statutory mandates in your jurisdiction.
• Backing up your local database records by exporting your files periodically.

6. Third-Party Artificial Intelligence Services

When utilizing the Gemini 3.5 AI Studio feature, you interact directly with Google's generative models. You agree to comply with Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. Taksal Studio makes no warranty regarding the originality, copyright eligibility, or accuracy of AI-generated text or layout suggestions.

7. Advertising Disclosures

To keep all professional features free for all users, Taksal Studio displays mobile advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the app, you agree to the non-intrusive display of banners, milestone interstitials, and optional rewarded ad formats. You agree not to use ad-blocking software to circumvent or tamper with the ad pipeline.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Taksal Studio is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the application will be completely error-free, that functions will operate uninterrupted, or that exports will meet your specific print vendor requirements without standard pre-press verification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Card Mint, Taksal Studio, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, commercial revenue, data loss, business interruption, or equipment failure resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the application.
• Data loss resulting from device damage, app uninstallation, or clearing device storage without backups.
• Errors in billing amounts or tax calculations issued to your commercial clients.

10. Termination & Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any revisions will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Your continued use of Taksal Studio after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You may terminate your agreement at any time simply by discontinuing use and uninstalling the application.
